Katherine Elizabeth Taylor, 83, a resident of Pasadena for 33 years, and previously of Glen Burnie, died on December 30, 2011 at Genesis Severna Park Center after suffering from cancer for one and one half years.
She was born on April 30, 1928, in Baltimore, to the late John and Mary Zentgraf. A graduate of Glen Burnie High School, she was a homemaker who was active with the VFW Post 2462 Ladies Auxiliary and the Pasadena Senior Center in Lake Shore. She loved bingo, playing slots in Dover, and feeding the ducks.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 25 years: Arthur James Taylor.
She is survived by her son Michael Roberge and his wife Corine, of Pasadena; grandchildren Grayson Roberge and his wife Loretta, of Stephens City, VA, Amy Faulkner, and Stephen Rodey, both of Pasadena; her sister Joan Thompson, of Linthicum; brother Alfred Zentgraf and his wife Mary, of Annapolis; four great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, with Rev Milt Zahn officiating. Her interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery. Family requests friends visit on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Those who wish may contribute to the VFW Post 2462 Ladies Auxiliary.
