Alberta Janet Byron (nee Senior), passed away in the early morning hours on Saturday, August 4, 2018. She was 81 and resided in Pasadena, MD. Born February 13, 1937 in West Chester, PA, she graduated from West Chester High School in 1955 and moved to Maryland in 1956. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth M. (Thrasher) and Frank Senior; and brothers Frank Senior (Laura) and Norris Senior. Beloved wife of the late Robert C. Johnson, Jr., late Mard L. Davis, and the late Rodney Byron. Loving mother to Robert C. Johnson, III, Andrea Hoffman (Dave) and Deborah Webster (Frank). Cherished grandmother to Alex Webster, Joe and Jenna Hoffman. Also survived by many cherished and close friends and family. Janet was a member of Stoney Creek Democratic Club, Stoney Creek Senior Club, and American Legion Post #34. Janet enjoyed travelling on senior bus trips, cooking, baking, making others laugh, adored her pets and had a kind and generous heart.

Family requests friends visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, 21122 on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Her funeral service will begin on Thursday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. She will be buried in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
