James Douglas Cavey, Sr., “Doug” a resident of Pasadena, passed on March 15, 2018 at the age of 71.

He was born on May 5, 1946, in Baltimore, to the late Marie and Bernard Cavey, Sr. He began his employment in 1975 as a mechanic with Union Local 24, until his retirement in May of 2008. A member for 43 years, he had served as Vice President, and sat on the executive board of the union. During his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley Davidson with his friends.

Doug is survived by his two sons: James D. Cavey, Jr. and his wife Jackie, and Stacey Cavey; his granddaughter Zoey Cavey; his two brothers: Bernard Cavey, Jr. and John Cavey; and his sister Patricia Cavey.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Doug’s will be held at Beefalo Bob’s, Fort Smallwood Rd, on April 7, 2018 from 12 noon until 3 PM. Feel free to express your condolences below as well.
