Georgia Anna Kolodziejski, age 86, a resident of Carvel Beach for many years, passed on March 16, 2018 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
She was born on August 10, 1931, in Baltimore, to the late Margaret and Charles Allen Tucker. She was a devoted wife and mother who always considered her family to be first and foremost. During her free time she enjoyed reading and drawing, music and singing, television, and games such as bingo, connect four, and a few other things.
Along with her parents, Georgia is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years: Charles Stokes Kolodziejski; her son Alvin Kolodziejski, and her daughter in law Linda Kolodziejski.
She is survived by her loving daughter Barbara Swetnam and her husband Joseph, of North Carolina; her three devoted sons: Robert Kolodziejski, of Florida, Thomas Kolodziejski and his wife Patty, of Pasadena, and Paul Kolodziejski and his wife Sue, of Delaware; her daughter in law Faith Kolodziejski, of Cape Cod; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Family requests friends visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM. Her funeral will begin on Friday at 12:30 PM at the funeral home, with Rev. Jesse Robinson officiating. Her burial will follow in Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery, Crownsville.
