Deborah Rene Johnson, age 61, a resident of Pasadena for 34 years, passed away suddenly of heart failure on January 3, 2018 at her home.
She was born on July 30, 1956, in Baltimore, where she studied nursing after graduating from high school, first as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and then as a Registered Nurse. She worked for 35 years in the emergency room at Harbor Hospital, and had also worked at Maryland General Hospital and Baltimore Washington Medical Center during the course of her career. During her free time she enjoyed shopping, bingo, bus trips, and cruising.
Deb is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years: Timothy C. Johnson, Sr.; her devoted son Timothy Johnson, Jr., of Pasadena; her loving mother Mary Kronsteiner, of Glen Burnie; her two brothers: Kyle Kronsteiner, of Glen Burnie, and Kurt Kronsteiner, of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania; and her sister Karen Morris, of Gainsville, Florida.
Family requests friends visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Her funeral service will begin at 8 PM at the funeral home, during the evening visitation hours, with Rev. LaNae Kirwan officiating.
