Patricia M. Irwin, age 85, a resident of Pasadena for 50 years, passed away on December 11, 2017 at Genesis Severna Park Center after a three month illness.
She was born on June 12, 1932, in Winchester, Virginia, to the late Anna and Calvin Brill. After attending Old Southern High School on Warren Avenue, she went to work for Domino Sugar for 25 years in customer service and sugar packet designs. She was a member of the Pasadena Senior Center, and enjoyed bingo, screen painting, lunch outings, and trips to Ocean City.
Along with her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years: Harry J. “Hap” Irwin; her son Brian M. Irwin; and her granddaughter Jenny Kruszynski.
She is survived by her loving daughter Carol Condry and her husband Larry, of Pasadena; her granddaughter Ashley Hoppa, of Aberdeen; her great granddaughter Paige Hoppa, also of Aberdeen; and her great grandson Alex Kruszynski, of Dallastown, Pennsylvania.
Family requests friends visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Her funeral service will begin on Friday at 1 PM at the funeral home, with Rev. Milt Zahn officiating. She will be buried in Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery with her husband following the service.
