Jeremiah Lawton, III, age 68, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, died on August 30, 2015 at his home.
Born on January 11, 1947, in Baltimore, to the late Gertrude and Jeremiah Lawton, Jr., he ran his own business as owner/operator of Maryland Auto Body and Fender Shop. He was a member of American Legion Post #277, and enjoyed hunting, softball, and spending time with friends and family.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Craig Lawton.
Jeremiah is survived by his two daughters: Darlene Geise and Kim Hubbard, both of Brandenburg, Kentucky; his brother James Lawton, of Glen Burnie; his former wife and forever friend Leila Smith, of Callao, Virginia; six grandchildren: Christopher Hubbard, of Annapolis, Brittany Hubbard, of Waldorf, Kennedy Geise, Tyler Hubbard, Connor Geise, and Nicholas Hubbard, all of Brandenburg, Kentucky; and two great grandchildren.
The family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Saturday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. His funeral service will begin at 7:30 PM on Saturday during the evening visitation hours.
