Jean Clark Hurd, age 87, a resident of Baltimore for 67 years, and previously of Glasgow, Scotland, died at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on November 4, 2014.
She was born on November 12, 1926, in Glasgow, to the late Elizabeth and David Clark. She married and became a homemaker and mother of three children. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the British Bells, and enjoyed travelling, clubs, and reading.
Along with her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years: Richard Hurd.
She is survived by her two sons: David and Gary Hurd, both of Pasadena; her daughter: Bonnie Riley, of North Carolina; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Family requests friends visit on Sunday at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Her funeral service will begin on Monday at 11 AM. Her burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
