Karl William Frohlich, Sr., "Pop", age 89, a resident of Severn for 30 years, and previously of Pasadena, died on June 16, 2014 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born on November 25, 1924, in Baltimore, to the late Marie and Charles Frohlich. After school, he joined the US Army, serving in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He went on to work for General Motors, and for Myers Construction for 30 years. A member of the Shore Gun Club for more than 60 years, he was one of its founding fathers. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren and grand dogs.
Along with his parents, Karl is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years: Gladys Frohlich, and his son Karl William Frohlich, Jr.
He is survived by his two daughters: Corine Roberge and her husband Michael, and Shelley Brown; four grandchildren: Amy Faulkner, Stephen Rodey, Kristy Frohlich, and Jamey Brown; his brother George Frohlich; six great and two great- great grandchildren.
Family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.
