She was member of St. Jane Frances Catholic Church in Rivera Beach, MD. A beloved resident of her local community, Miss Ann enjoyed visiting Cape May, NJ for many summers with her family and friends. She always wore hats because she grew up during the era when a lady wasn't fully dressed without one. She received many admiring compliments when she wore them.
Another favorite pastime was having tea with friends. She loved to entertain and often invited guests to her home which overlooked Stoney Creek. She enjoyed going to the theater, travel, politics and reading books. Her family ancestors came from Ireland so she enjoyed Irish music, festivals and literature. She made several trips to Ireland which she remembered very happily. She was also a pet lover and owned several different dogs during her lifetime.
She was predeceased by her only brother, Martin Gallagher, about two years ago.
