Mary B. Hall, age 91, a resident of Flagler Beach, FL for 25 years, and previously of Pasadena, died on July 9, 2013 at Genesis Spa Creek Center after a one year illness.
She was born on February 10, 1922, in Baltimore, to the late Genivieve and John Bohl. After graduating from Towson Catholic High School in 1940, she married and became a mother of six children. In her later years, she did volunteer work for the League of Families, a group dedicated to POW’s and MIA’s. She was a member of the Maryland Club and Meals on Wheels while enjoying her retirement in Florida.
Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years: Francis “Pen” Hall, and her two daughters: Jane Claire Cooke and Eileen Loretta Angel.
She is survived by her four sons: William R. Hall, of Pasadena, Robert W. Hall, of Charleston, SC, James T. Hall, of Katy, TX, and Richard L. Hall of Edgewater, MD; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Family requests friends visit on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Dr, Pasadena. The procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM on Monday to go to St. Jane Frances Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, with interment to follow in Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery, Crownsville.
