Jack Martin Vance, “Fingers”, age 45, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, died on March 30, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
He was born on April 29, 1967, in Baltimore. After graduating from the Frederick School for the Deaf, he worked for the US Postal Service. He loved boating, fishing and crabbing, the Ravens and Orioles, motorcycles, wrestling, movies, and playing jokes on people.
He is preceded in death by his father H. Dudley Thomas, and his former wife Pattie Vance.
He is survived by his mother Freida Thomas, of Riviera Beach; his brother Carl Vance and his wife Karen; his sister Susan Hicks, all of Pasadena; his brother Forrest Vance, of Scottsdale, AZ; three nephews: Robert Lynch, of Mardella, MD, Troy Burton, of Glen Burnie, and Steven Lynch, of Baltimore; and three nieces: Jacqueline Lynch, Casey Hicks, and Brittany Hicks, all of Pasadena.
Family requests friends visit on Friday from 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Dr, Pasadena. Those who wish may contribute to the SPCA, Millersville, MD, and you may express your condolences here as well.
