Joan G. Trimmer, age 77, a resident of Pasadena for more than 20 years, and previously of Baltimore, died on July 9, 2012 at the Mandrin Hospice Care Center after suffering from cancer for five years.
She was born on December 8, 1934, in Baltimore, to the late Thelma and Harold Wolf. She worked for Rite Aid for 15 years, and enjoyed reading mystery novels and playing cards with friends.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years: Kenneth Trimmer.
She is survived by her two sons: Glenn Trimmer, of Rawlings, and Michael Trimmer, of Baltimore; three daughters: Karen Pressley, of Silver Spring, Cheryl Jackson, of Pasadena, and Diana Trimmer, of Baltimore; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Her funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home, with her burial to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
