Brenda Lee Young, “Beaner”, age 49, a resident of Baltimore, died on June 14, 2012 at Harbor Hospital.
She was born on August 10, 1962, in Baltimore, to ErvaLee and the late Charlie Edward Young. After high school, she became a homemaker who loved to be with her children and grandchildren, enjoyed listening to music and had a vast collection of anything Piggy related.
Brenda was loved dearly by all of her family and friends. She was the kind of person who never knew a stranger, enjoyed meeting with people from all walks of life, and had an unconditional, undying love for every one of her family members. Her children were the light of her life; she truly was their number one fan, always there showing her kids how to be a trooper in all situations; always there with a solution to any problem they brought to her. Through all of her ups and downs, triumphs and tribulations, you could always count on Brenda for a kind word and an open hand. She will remain in our hearts and prayers as she continues her spiritual journey with Jesus. We will forever miss her dearly. May Beaner’s soul rest in peace through all eternity.
Brenda is survived by her daughter Erica Caputo, of upstate New York; two sons: Jesse and Jeremy Montgomery, of Baltimore; daughters Brittany Montgomery, of Baltimore, and Destiny Heerd, of White Marsh; her mother ErvaLee Long, of Baldwin, GA; four sisters: Nancy Johnson, of Arlington, TX, Deborah Young, of Garland, TX, Darlene Blades, of Dallas, TX, and Mildred McCruden, of Severna Park; three brothers: Donald Young, of Shorthills, NJ, Troy Young, of San Antonio, TX, and Edward Young, of Marietta, GA; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Thursday from 11 AM to 1 PM and 3 to 5 PM. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 3:30 PM, during the afternoon visitation. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.
