Ronald Edgar Baker, Jr., age 40, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, died on June 3, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a 2 year illness.
He was born on July 26, 1972, in Baltimore, to Linda and the late Ronald Edgar Baker, Sr. He attended grade school at St. Jane Frances, then Northeast High School, graduating in 1990. He then worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric and Delta Insulation. Ron loved spending time with his family, watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Orioles, collecting football cards and putting puzzles together. He enjoyed sending letters to all NFL teams, mainly Dallas Cowboys, to collect signatures from his favorite players. He also liked to play lacrosse, and loved to draw.
Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents Josephine and Burford “BB” Whitaker.
He is survived by his daughter Aryn Baker, of Pasadena; his son Matthew Baker of Brooklyn Park; his mom Linda Baker Jacobs and stepdad Floyd Jacobs, of Pasadena; sister Kimberly Baker Coburn and brother in law Michael Coburn, Sr., of Pasadena; two nieces Myranda and Mackenzie Coburn; and nephew Michael Coburn, Jr., all of Pasadena.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday in St. Jane Frances Church at 10 AM. His burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Family requests friends visit on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.
