Catherine Ruby Brock “Kay”, age 91, a resident of Pasadena for 52 years, and previously of Pikesville, died of a stroke on May 9, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a 5 day illness.
She was born on September 6, 1920, in Baltimore, to the late Ethel and Walton Mister. After college, she worked for 51 years as an administrative officer for the Department of Defense and the National Security Agency. She enjoyed clowns and “clowning”, and was a member of the Clowns of America.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years: William H. Brock, Jr.; her four brothers: Walton R., Theodore K., Charles E., and David W. Mister; and her sister Elizabeth Erisman Tomczak.
She is survived by her sister Ethel Irene Foster and many nieces and nephews.
Family requests friends attend a Memorial Mass on Monday at 11 AM in St. Jane Frances Church, 8499 Virginia Ave, Pasadena, 21122. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute to the Church, and you may also express your condolences here.
