Vincent Edward Campbell, Sr., 72, a resident of Pasadena for 33 years, died of Pneumonia and COPD at Baltimore Washington Medical Center November 25, 2011 after a 1 month illness.
He was born October 27, 1939, in Baltimore, and joined the US Air Force after high school, serving from 1959 to 1963 as an Airman First Class. He then worked as a Chemical Technician for WR Grace, Davison Chemical Division, retiring after 40 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, taking care of his cat Maddie, and enjoyed watching wrestling on TV and spending time on the computer.
He is predeceased by his grandson Jordan Edward Ambrozewicz.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years: Beverly Ann Campbell; (shown with him in the photo) four daughters: Tina M. Anthony and her husband Edward, Beverly A. Ambrozewicz and her husband Steven, all of Pasadena, Teresa L. Manack, of Glen Burnie, Amy M. Stone and her husband Josh, of Denton; his son Vincent E. Campbell, Jr. and his wife Shana, of Pasadena; his sister Catherine Mary Campbell, of Baltimore, and his brother George Arnett Campbell of Selbyville, DE, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday in St. Jane Frances Church at 11 AM. (The procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM to go to church.) His interment will follow, with military honors, in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville. The family requests friends and family visit on Monday and Tuesday from 3 to 5 PM and from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
