Lorraine R. (nee Wensel) McManus. 83 years, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed into eternal life under the loving care of Home Hospice and surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Devoted mother of Linda (late Ron Austin) Eldridge of Hot Springs, AR., Carolyn (late Dave McGehee) McManus of Berwyn, IL, Edward McManus Jr. of Chicago, IL, and the late Michael McManus. Dear mother-in-law of Karen McManus (Chuck) Pickerill.. Loving daughter of the late John (Ruby nee Miller) Wensel. Dearest sister of Shirley (late Arthur) Paholke, late Charlotte, late Ruth (late C.C. Phillips), late Jack (late Betty), late Tom (late Genny) and the late Bill. Special grandmother of 7. Great-grandmother of 8. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was an active member of the Hot Springs community and a retired 20 year employee of Montgomery Ward. Funeral services 9:00 a.m., Tuesday April 14, 2015, from the Thomas McInerney’s Sons Funeral Home, 4635 South Wallace Street, Chicago, IL 60609 to St. Gabriel Church. Mass of the Resurrection 10:00 a.m. Visitation Monday April 13, 2015, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Ed Jr and all the McManus family so sorry about your loss.
Your dad & I were friends growing up in Canaryville and also served together at Great Lakes naval base. My wife also worked with your
grandmother Mary McManus in Canaryville.
