John “Jack” Schaller. 92 years. Veteran United States Army - Pacific Theater.  Beloved husband and best fried of 50 years to Betty (nee McCormick) Schaller. Loving father of the late Jack (Melissa), Jill (Mike C.P.D.) Nolan, Sue (Leo) Weber, James (Michelle), Colleen (Jack) Sheehan, Betty Jo (Bob) Bailey, Kim (George) Shinnick and Jay.  Dearest grandfather “Pops” of 18, Great grandfather of 6.  Devoted son of the late George (late Loretta) Schaller.  Cherished brother of the late George (Delores) Schaller, the late Mary Jane (late Keith) Miller. Brother-in-law of Joe (Marge) McCormick.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member Canaryville Veterans Association. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 1, 2016, at Nativity of our Lord Church, 653 W. 37th St., Chicago, IL from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Mass of the Resurrection, Thursday, June 2, 2016, at 10: 00 a.m.  Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
