Helen Owens Walsh age 91 died peacefully in her daughters Pennsylvania home on January 6th 2012. She lived a long happy and full life and was known for her warm generous spirit and her great sense of humor. She thoroughly enjoyed the company of her family, her many good friends, and a number of pampered pets. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Walsh; her parents John and Elizabeth Owens; and her siblings John, Mary Elizabeth and Margaret Owens. She is survived by her children John (Karen) Walsh and Marian (John) Pottage and her grandchildren Kimberly and Jennifer Pottage. Services and interment at St. Marys Cemetery were held privately . Helen was a parishioner of 57 years of  St. Denis Church and donations may be made to St. Denis Church, 8301 S St. Louis Ave. Chicago Illinois 60652 in her name.
