I worked with Earl for 25 years at MIT and I consider him one of my early mentors. He hired me at the Property Office and we had a great working relationship. After he retired, we kept in touch through Christmas cards but it was never just a signed card. He would write on every
available part of the card telling me about his time in the war as well as the myriad jobs he had held over the years. I only got to visit him once after he retired and we had a great time reminiscing of our days at MIT. I will miss a man that was sincere, a straight shooter and a great person to work with. Dot and family, I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep him in my memory forever.

While we only knew Earl briefly at the Life Care Center, he was a delightful roommate for our dad, David Russell. We will hold your family in our thoughts at this time of transition and remembrance.
