Wed July 29, 2015 I was saddened to learn of Gerry’s passing.  I met Gerry when I started at MIT many, many years ago.  My parents also knew him too from working there.  He always had a big smile, a good sense of humor, and friendly kiss on the cheek.  I will miss that occasional quick chat as he was heading to the garage leaving campus after a workout and I was heading into work.  I send my condolences to your family for the loss of a wonderful man.

Thu July 30, 2015 So sorry to hear that Gerry has passed away.  I will miss seeing his smiling face and hearing his cordial greetings when passing by him in the hallways at MIT.  He was such a nice man, always helpful, always kind. My deepest sympathy to his family.
