Posted by: Carole Reeder Fri November 28, 2008 | My uncle Art was a significant person in my life, despite time and distance. I knew all of my life that he loved me as I loved him and no matter what...he had my back. I will miss him and love him forever. |
Posted by: Betty Gillespie Fri November 28, 2008 | One of my favorite memories of you my big brother was the very best Christmas I had as a kid. It was right after WWII ended. You had come home from the Navy and I was so happy to see you. For Christmas that year all I wanted was a pair of Sonja Heine White Boot Figure Skates. Some how you managed to find a pair for me. Metal was rare during and right after the war years. How you got them I'll never know but you made a little sister a memory that would never go away. I will always miss you. Love your little sister Betty |

Posted by: Lynda Reeder Stark Sat November 29, 2008 | All of us kids Carole, Bill, Suzi, Ronnie and I really loved Uncle Art. Even though we didn't get to see him often, when he came to visit, we were thrilled. We had some great times together. I'm so thankful that my husband, Jack, got to meet Uncle Art. He was a very special person, and we will miss him dearly. |
Posted by: Suzi Gillespie Younger Mon December 01, 2008 | My Uncle Art was one of the sweetest men I every knew. I have memories all the way back to when I was probably around 7 or 8 visiting him and his family in Boston. I remember making jello with MaryLou and playing with the marionettes up in the attic. Uncle Art always had a smile on his face. I was and always will be his little SuSu. I love you and will miss you Uncle Art. |
