Of Chelsea on December 27th. Beloved daughter of the late John and Evelyn Gnecco May of Chelsea and loving sister of John May and the late Janice. Devoted aunt of Julianne and Michael Esposito of Revere and Cherished niece of Elder Benton and Joseph and Irene May of Chelsea. Joanne is missed by many loving cousins and friends. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT on Tuesday, December 30th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at the Our Lady of Grace Church at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited, visiting hours are Monday only 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Joanne's memory may be made to the Susan G. Koman Cancer Fund, 500 LBJ Freeway, Dallas TX 75244. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

John, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sister Joanne. My sister Linda and Joanne were very good friends growing up she will surely be missed heaven has another angel my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family may she rest in peace may you also find comfort in one another C.Melanson

Joanne, you are one of the most special people I have ever met in my life. I have so much to say but I'm not sure where to start. I just want you to know that you will be missed dearly. It's been such a pleasure getting to know you. Thank you for being such an inspiration. Rest In Peace. Your smiles will always be in my heart.

Went to CHS with Joanne & hung at the Soldiers Home back in the '70's. Learned just recently of her passing while revisiting my year book. She was a beautiful person & enjoyed speaking with her. Love you till we meet in our LORDS' home. Rest In Peace sweetheart 0
