Vincent J. "Jimmy" Sorrento Sr. Of Everett on June 28. Beloved husband of Frances Zagarella and loving father of Frank J. Sorrento and his wife Lisa of Everett, Vincent Sorrento Jr. and his wife Nancy of Danvers and Bridget Abbott and her husband Shawn of Laconia, N.H. Brother of Frank, Tony, Patrick and Andrew Sorrento and the late Carmella, Joseph, Rose and Anntonett. Also survived by 3 loving grandchildren Joseph, Samantha and Sofia. Funeral from The Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Monday July 2 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Atnony's Church Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours only Sunday 3-7 pm. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Jimmy was a Korean War Veteran.

My condolences to Mrs.Sorrento,Frank,and Vincent.I have great respect for Mr.Sorrento as a career soldier and as a man.It was a pleasure to go to the house on Wednesday nites,and to hear his stories.Especially those of his Army career.I found them fascinating.He was a good husband and father.I wish that I could have seen him more often.I will miss him.God bless.Sincerely,Scott
