Lewis, you were a great friend, skydiver, hard worker and a brother to me. We spent a lot of time together in that tiny house and I will never forget the lessons I learned or the work ethic you instilled in me. We truly had a bond that was bigger than life itself. I love you, bro. Fly free...

You are one of the best people I’ve ever known. You are pure goodness. I love you and will miss you; I am also positive that you’re shining down on us all and having fun doing it. I can feel you in the breeze my dear. I hold you forever in my heart. Thank you for your bright smiling eyes, your humor, intelligence, and tenderness, and thank you for your expansive heart which touched me so deeply.

Did not know you except as a passerby in the school. But the way you were with the little dog told me you were a kind soul. R.I.P. Son. R.I.P.

You are loved by me & so many in my family.
I was blessed to have had you in my life when you were a small child & beyond. You filled my heart & soul & gave me so much joy. You grew into a wonderful, fun loving & unique man.
I know your time here on earth had great value but God needs his angels with him & so you have left us. We will meet again.
RIP, I love you

Tragic event to a good person. Prayers and blessings I offer and wish for his family. Will miss very much his natural, real presents along with his small companion in the classroom. I have been personally enriched to have known him. May God allow his countenance to be on his family and his legacy and give them peace.

Thank you to everyone who traveled to Lewis's memorial on Saturday. Your presence and kind words mean so much right now. Knowing my brother died part of so many communities who loved him as much as he they, gives us so much comfort. I'm sorry to everyone who lost their friend, partner in skydiving, partner in crime, hetero-life mate, and his adopted brothers, sisters and mothers.

Losing someone we care about is nothing easy. I can realize that I've been blessed to have known Lewis at the Porter and Chester Institute. I will surely miss all those cute tricks you would have Macho do for me before class. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers Lewis.
