LANZI, Paul A., Jr. Devoted Husband, Father and Son Of Reading, formerly of Malden, on March 20th, unexpectedly. Beloved husband of Kristin (Traill). Devoted father of Gina, Jessica, Paul, and Christopher all of Reading. Son of Catalina (Gutierrez) and the late Paul A. Lanzi, Sr. Brother of Joseph and his wife Erin of North Reading and Peter and his wife Katie of Wilmington. Son-in-law of Janeen Traill of Revere and the late Bill Traill. Brother-in-law of Bill Traill and his wife Linda of Danvers and Kelly Davidson and her husband Phil of Reading. Visiting hours will be in the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Friday, March 24th, 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Agnes Church, Reading, Saturday, March 25th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to the charity of your choice . Complimentary valet parking will be available during Friday evening's visiting hours.

I consider myself fortunate that I had the opportunity, however short it was, to work with a guy like Paul for a couple of years at the airport. He was a talented, kind, fun-loving and happy person who loved his family very much, and I’m sure loved him back just as much. He had that easy smile and such a nice way about him that just drew people in. I was hoping and praying for a miracle, and frankly, I’m shocked, and words cannot express my sympathy to Paul’s wife, children, and family. Unfortunately I will be away for his services but I wanted you to know how I feel and that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Paul's Family,
I am so sad for your loss. I only knew Paul through Friday Hockey. I'm one of the goalies and Paul usually skated on my side. He skated last Friday. I could not believe it. He was a fun-loving guy and he was always smiling in the locker room + after hockey. He will be greatly missed at hockey. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
