JANCSY, Edward "Ed" Of Lynn, formerly of Everett, on November 8th. Beloved husband of Ann (Mastone). Father of Carolyn Moulton of Beverly, Eddie and his wife Julie of NH, Kevin and his wife Michaela of Ohio, Brian and his wife Josephine of Malden, Maryellen Nichols and her husband Keith of NH, Danny and his wife Patty of NH, Linda of NH, Keith and his wife Kim of NC, and the late Michael. Step father of Nina Grava and her husband Ralph, Susan Burcume and her husband Scott, and Christine Giannasca and her husband Bill, all of Lynnfield. Brother of Henry of Longmeadow, Elaine Ridge of Everett, and the late Bill. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Thursday, November 12th at 7:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in the St. Pius V Church in Lynn at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Donations in Edward's memory may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923. Interment will be in Swampscott Cemetery. Complimentary valet parking will be available at the funeral home during Wednesday's wake. Ed was a retired Everett Police Lieutenant. He was very athletic and loved to swim, work out, and run marathons.

Anne, So sorry to hear about the passing of Ed, he was a wonderful , kind gentle man, he loved swimming the ocean on Marco . My sincere sympathy to the family, I'm sure they will all miss the good times you all had together, may those memories last forever! May he rest in peace. Annette & Jerry

I feel very blessed that I was fortunate enough to meet and work with Ed. He was my Lieutenant on the PD when I was a rookie. He offered me some great wisdom & insight for both life and the job we did. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I'm so sorry for your loss.
