BOWDEN, Elva M. Of Everett, on Aug. 2. Mother of Peter and his wife Donna of Revere, Barbara of NH, William of Austin, TX and the late Lawrence and his surviving wife Cathy. Sister of the late Mary Kinsella, Florence Alton and Albert Condon. Aunt of Carole Alton and many other nieces and nephews. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandsons. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Thurs., Aug. 9th at 10:30. Prayer service to be held in funeral home at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Weds. 4-8. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Elva was a former member of the "Bunco Girls." Complimentary valet parking will be available at front door of funeral home Weds. evening.

My heart goes out to all of you. I remember Aunt Elva as a funny woman, with a great love for her family. I'm saddened that I didn't spend enough time with her over the years. I'm here for you if I can do anything.....

Almost copying Lynn's words here, I remember Aunt Elva as a funny sassy woman. I believe that is how my mother described her. She was loved by many and will be missed by even more.
