CHATLOS, ARTHUR
Arthur Edward Chatlos, 81, of Linden Street in Everett, died after a brief illness at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Arthur Albert Chatlos and Bertha Jordan Chatlos, both of whom predeceased him. He lived for many years in Norristown PA, and later in Bridgeport, CT. He entered the U.S Navy from Bridgeport and served in the Pacific theater during World War II. His longtime companion Lorraine _Campo accompanied him during his illness. He leaves behind his former wife, Joan Chatlos of Melbourne, FL, his sister Betty Gillespie of Melbourne, Florida, his daughters Mary Lou Ciampa of Nashua, NH, Catherine Ann Joy of Manchester, NH, and Nikki Nash of Melbourne, FL. and a stepson, Gary Ellis of Brockton, MA, In addition to nieces and nephews William Reeder, Carole Reeder, Linda Stark, Ronnie Gillespie, and Suzi Younger, he is survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mr. Chatlos was fond of fresh water fishing and was an avid golfer. He will be missed by his many Friends and Neighbors on Linden Street, where he was apartment manager and advocate for many of the tenants.
