Grassi, Josephine “Josie” (Avola)

Of Everett, June 5, age 91.  Beloved wife of the late Gaetano.  Devoted mother of Mary, Linda Rines and her husband William, John and his wife Nancy, and Guy and his wife Linda.  Sister of Alexander Avola. Cherished grandmother of Adam Rines and his wife Andrea, Melanie Rines, William Rines, Danielle Grassi and Christopher Grassi.  Josie enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.  Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett, Friday, June 10 at 10 AM.  Funeral mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Everett at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4 -8 PM. Donations in Josie’s memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.  Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Complimentary valet parking will be available at the front door of funeral home Thursday evening.
