Eleanor M. Gardin Cardello, 92 Formerly of Everett, died Tuesday, January 15th at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Armando F. Cardello, and the loving mother of Armand V. Cardello and his wife, Sandy, of Framingham. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Greg, Nick & Lauren. In addition, she was the sister of the late Matilda, Alice, Carl and twin brother Giacomo. Mrs. Cardello lived most of her life in Everett. Having graduated Everett High School in 1933, Mrs. Cardello made a career as a bookkeeper until her husband returned from the war and her son was born. She then stayed at home where she enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with family and friends. In later years, her greatest pleasure was taking part in family celebrations, and seeing the accomplishments of her son & his wife, and especially those of her grandchildren. Funeral is from Salvatore Rocco & Son Funeral Home, Everett on Friday January 18th @ 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Everett @ 11:00 AM. Visiting hours are on Thursday, 4-8 PM. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Donations in Eleanor’s memory may be made to Oak Knoll Healthcare Center, 9 Arbetter Drive, Framingham.
