Dorothy A. (Trafton) Rivers, age 76, lifelong resident of Everett, passed away at her home in Revere on April 12th. Dorothy was born in Everett on October 7, 1940. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Charles N. Rivers, Jr. Loving to mother Donna Vella of Saugus, Karen Collins and Tracy Murphy both of Everett. Dorothy was blessed to have 12 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. She was the sister of Edward and Charles Trafton and was preceded in death by her sisters Joni Harring and Donna Conner. No services will be held at Dorothy's request. The family will remember her in a private Memorial Gathering to celebrate her life. Her family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the many friends who have reached out expressing their condolences. She was an amazing woman who touched the lives of all she met.
