Domenic Memmolo (December 14, 1921 - September 3, 2016), of Melrose, formerly of Everett and East Boston, passed away on Saturday September 3, he was 94 years old. Domenic was a World War II veteran serving the in United States Army as a Private First Class in the 80th Airdrome Squadron. Domenic also served as a Boston Firefighter for 35 years stationed in East Boston and assigned to the historic Engine 5.
Domenic was the loving husband of Matilda (Camerano). He is survived by his daughter Debbie and her husband Joe Cocker of North Reading, Ralph and his wife Loretta of Groveland. Also survived by grandson Michael and his wife Tara of Stoneham and granddaughter Alexis Wallace and her husband Brian of Everett. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren William and Brooke Wallace of Everett and various nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett, Thursday, September 8 at 9:00 am. A funeral mass will be held in St. Anthony Church, 38 Oakes Street, Everett at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Complimentary parking will be available during Wednesday’s wake.
