Clifford E. DiSanto, a lifelong resident of Everett, died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on April 2. He was 93 years old. Born in Everett, Cliff worked and retired from the Market Forge Company. He was the beloved husband of the late Dulcie "Del" (Caiazzo). Dear and devoted father of Lou and his wife Diane of Hamilton, Carolyn Owens-Clapp and her companion Tim of Naples, FL, Jim and his companion Janet of Beverly, Janis Kibby and her husband Gary of Everett. Loving grandfather of Dominic, Michael, Nick and Joe DiSanto, Maria Hamel and her husband Brian, Alyssa Borgonzi and her husband David, Juliann and Mark Kibby and his fiancée Rachel. Great grandfather of Michael and Jameson Hamel and Gianna Del Borgonzi. Also adored by many nieces and nephews. Cliff loved tending to his garden and his famous tomatoes. Yard work was his passion. He was a true and dedicated Red Sox fan and never missed a game. He also loved to dance and enjoyed going to the Everett Armory with many friends. He enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and chatting with his neighbors. He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed. Cliff was a true man of character and loved by all. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, on Wednesday, April 8 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church, Everett, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday only 3-8 p.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Complimentary valet parking Tuesday at Main St. entrance. Donations in Cliff's memory may be made to a charity of your choice or simply an act of kindness on his behalf.
