Of Everett on Nov 6th. Loving husband of Jennie Battaglino for 49 years. Devoted and loving father of Denise Pennington & her husband Mike of CO, Marie Edwards of Everett, Carol Lydon & her husband Jim of S. Boston, Linda O?Malley & her husband Butch of Everett, John Jr. and his wife Kerry of Peabody, Anthony of Everett, and the late Jennifer. Brother of Dan and the late Mike, Frank and Joe. Also survived by 15 grandchildren: Chris, Joe, Jenny, John, Matthew, Aleisha, Christian, Shannon, James, Dylan, Connor, Lauren, Vito, Lucas & Anthony and 1 great granddaughter: Juliana. Funeral from the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., EVERETT, Sat., Nov 10th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass Immaculate Conception Church Everett at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. John was a 37 year member of the I.U.O.E. Local 4 and a foreman for Everett City Highway Department. He was an avid sports fan. He was also a Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Carol and Linda - guys my heart is breaking over the news of your Dad's passing. Cal was like a second father to me, we all had so much fun together - the midnight trips for ice cream down the beach - I still remember all those wonderful times. The memories you all have of your Dad will help you get through this difficult time. To the entire Laurenza family - my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Dear Jennie & family: Tina just called & told me about Caal's passing away. I was devastated. I knew he wasn't doing great but it's always a shock when it happens. I miss the good times we had working together at Brandeis and my prayers and thoughts go out to you & family at this very sad time, but know that he is at peace now with no more suffering. Please take care & if there is anything at all I can do for you please know that I am here for you.
