Scotty was a wonderful man of faith and wit! I enjoyed talking with him at various church events. He always had something good to say, but did so with a dry sort of humor.

I recall when I had just started Pastoring at Elm Street Baptist and my wife and I were attending a singspiration at the First Baptist. After the service Scotty approached me and shared a few words. He was encouraged by the fact that I sat in the service with my arm around my wife, and he said, "What you did tonight, probably without thinking about it; sitting with your arm around your wife, is an encouragement to us. You don't see alot of that today."

I didn't know alot about Scotty, but I do know that he was a man of deep faith. I know he is at peace with Christ today and that one day we will really get to know one another.

I pray for Janet and the rest of the Morrison family, that the peace of Christ would rule in your hearts. Know this; Scotty is in no pain. He is resting in the arms of Jesus.
