Marie was related to my family though marriage. Ive known her from when I was a young bot to the present. When it was announced that she was going to visit us in Medford, we were always anxious to see her. She was so attractive and poised and expressed a warmth that one could not help but embrace her and await another visit. As life dictates that we make adjustments to events or situations, our paths as adults moved us in different directions. In recent years, with moves to different locations across the country, our time was limited together. Yet, in the absence of being physically present, family would relay how Marie was faring. Although separated by geography, Marie was always close at heart. While she now rests peacefully in the warm embrace of the Lord, the memory of this lovely lady will linger with me always. On behalf of my wife, Pat, and myself, I extend our deepest sympathies to Marie's family and her extended families and friends on the passing of a lovely and LOVED lady.

My prayers to everyone in such time of loss
I was first introduced to (Auntie Marie) Marie H. Shamma at one of the family’s Super packed Holiday Parties at the Laham’s house many years in Stoneham, MA....
I’ve known Pamela, Raymond, Heather, Megan Laham for over 10 years.
(Auntie Marie) holds a special place in the hearts of us all. Aunts are often a source of good, unbiased advice and wonderful friendships.
As we share special stories about Auntie Marie with others and reliving shared experiences can keep her alive in memory. It is also a way to celebrate the value of life and family relationships and even validate our reason for living.
condolences to:
Robert Shamma and family.
Laham family.
Capozzi family.
And to all whom new of (Auntie Marie) Marie H. Shamma

Marie was like an Aunt to me. Known her through the family since I was a kid. She gave me the opportunity to work for her at MGH Billing while attending UMass Lowell 80-84. A wonderful and caring woman who I kept in touch with, whether through my mom before she passed or recently when I just called to say hello.
Rest in peace Marie.
Love Frankie
