Carolyn, I didn't have a lot of contact with Mark over the years but for many decades I've always remembered him as such a good, pleasant, and friendly person. When I was in fourth grade I was interested in the drums, and I can still remember watching and studying Mark playing drums on the stage of the Lanier gymnasium at basketball games in 1964. Then came all his accomplishments and his family after that. Memories are gold. I'm sorry for your loss.

Carolyn and family,
Dr. Ulrich was such an intelligent, caring, and fun individual. When we moved back to Preble County, he cared for our goats. He spent hours with a doe when we had an emergency and helped us through. I enjoyed getting to know him better in later years and learn about his love of music and drums. Through all the ups and downs, may all the good memories be prominent for you. Prayers to you and your family
