He was a graduate of Eaton High School and had been employed by Circuit Center in Kettering, OH. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Phyllis Leis, West Alexandria, OH. children, Matthew Leis, Eldorado, OH. Bandy Leis, Eaton, OH., Bobby Downing, Richmond, IN, Amanda Downing, New Paris, OH., Miranda Hasket, Richmond, IN., brother Harry Leis, Eaton, Oh., sisters, Norma Piper, Bellbrook, OH., Linda Russ, Fairborn, OH., 2 grandchildren, Cheyla Woolums, Eaton, Oh., Corey Woolums, Richmond, IN., many other extended grandchildren, and his aunt, Betty Scott, Eaton, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, John Leis, David Leis, sister, Mary June Leis. Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. Mon. Sept. 14, 2015 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in West Alexandria, OH. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.
