HAMILTON, Dianne, age 73 of West Alexandria, OH. passed away Mon. Apr. 17, 2017 in Dayton.  She was born in Dayton on Aug. 19, 1943 to Clarence and Irma (Borkenhagen) Merrick.  She graduated from Fairview High School and worked for DESC as an executive secretary before taking a medical retirement.  She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, DAR and the West Alexandria Coterie Club.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William B. Hamilton, 2 daughters, Candace (Todd) Sidle, West Alexandria, OH., Heather Back, Hamilton, OH., 6 grandchildren, Levi Back, Madison Back, Joshua Sidle, Haley Back, Case Back and Shelby Sidle, 3 foster children, Vicki (Danny) Crampsey, Michael (VaRonda) Hamilton, Brian (Susan) Hamilton and many dear nieces and nephews, brother, Kenneth (Reva) Merrick, Middletown, OH. and sister, Sandra (Ron) Logsdon, Kettering, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lorraine Plogsted and step-mother, Glenna Merrick.  Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M. Monday April 24, 2017 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
