"Thick, the invisible clarity
of death, the brittleness
of eyes.  Unreal, the way
that how it is is not
the way it is.  But how it is
is never true.  Everything
is indistinct, irrevocable."
    -- Norman Leer

I, in my absence, may be
more present in the dark
background of faith.  Be
strong, Doug.

We are saddened to hear of Marvin's passing.  We never had the privilege of meeting and knowing him.  The stories we heard from his loved ones are a testament to a wonderful person.  Were we to have met him we're sure he would have quickly embraced us in friendship.  We would have loved to see his farm and played some cards!  Our deepest sympathy to all of his family.  Sincerely, Paul and Rae Tyriver

Marvin was a good man, husband, and father.  He lived a good life and loved Eileen very much.  May God bless him and be with him.

There is a million things that I wanted to say to you before you passed away, but I am relieved that I had the chance to say "I love you".  The way you lived your life has been an inspiration to me, especially as I have grown older with children of my own.  I couldn't have asked for a more caring and involved grandfather.  I am certainly a better man because of you; thank you grandpa.  You will be missed dearly.

I have been a friend of Les Hipenbecker for 20 years. I am very sorry to her of his father's passing. Last year we went to Mescoda and had the opportunity to visit Marvin and Eileen in the Nursing Home. I am very honored to have had that privilege. My sympathy goes out to his wife Eileen, Les, Jeff, Tammy, Laurel, Terry, Doug, as well as, all the Hipenbecker family members, not listed.
