Stanley E. "Butch" Wetter, age 63, of Boscobel passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque Iowa.  He was born July 28, 1956 in Boscobel.  The son of Stanley and Marlene (Wayne) Wetter. He was a 1975 graduate of Boscobel High School.  After High School he enlisted in the United States Marines, retiring as a Staff Sergeant with over 20 years of service.  He is survived by two sons: Brent Wetter of Rockford and Rachel Zimmerman of Green Bay, Justin Wetter and Lauren  Johnson both of Winona Mn. Two brothers; Bryan Wetter of Boscobel, Jeffrey (Nancy) Wetter of Benton Wisconsin. Several Nieces and Nephews, and Max.  He was preceded in death by his parents, along with a brother Eric Wetter.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday September 16, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.  Pastor Barbara Wolfe officiating. Burial in the Hickory Grove Cemetery, rural Boscobel.  Friends may call on Sunday September 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel, and also on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service .
