Lorraine Peterson, age 84 of Boscobel, passed away on Friday February 4 2011 at the Good Samaritan Center in Fennimore surrounded by her family. She was born on April 14, 1926 in Boscobel Wisconsin. The daughter of Harvey and Ruby (Ricks) Ward. She married Hollis "Pete" Peterson on June 3 1944 in Dubuque Iowa. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1980. She worked at J.C. Penney's in Boscobel for several years. She is survived by two sons: Robert Peterson and special friend Mary Stubblefield both of Burnett Wisconsin, Rick (Kerry) Peterson of Prairie du Chien Wisconsin. Four Grandchildren Five Great-Grandchildren. One sister Ruth Strang of Boscobel. Two sister in laws: Maxine Patch of Muscoda, Pearl Ward of Boscobel. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Randy Peterson, One sister: Dorothy Wayne, Three brothers: Darrell, Howard,and Clinton Ward. A daughter in law Audrey Peterson.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday February 7, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call on Monday February 7, 2011 from 4:00 until time of service at 6:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Good Samaritan Center in Fennimore or the Prairie du Chien Hospice. On line condolence may be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
