She is the daughter of Victor and Opal (Krieg) Fouts. She married Donald Wilburn on August 17, 1963 in Denver Indiana. She is survived by her husband Donald Wilburn of Boscobel, one son Donnie Wilburn of Boscobel, six daughters; Kari (Don) Oates of Boscobel, Traci (John) Edge of Boscobel, Vicki (Eddie) Ward of Boscobel, Trudi (Roger) Bray of Boscobel, Jami (David) Gunderson of Woodman, Jodi (Justin) Wayne of Woodman, 17 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, two sisters; Dianna (Paul) France of Wabash Indiana, and Linda Imel of Portland Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. Sharon loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her amazing chocolate salad oil cake, homemade noodles, and ham and beans. Sharon was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and never missed watching a game. In her past time, she loved fishing, watching Gun Smoke, reading true crime books, and collecting owl memorabilia. Some of her most treasured and memorable moments was attending grand children’s events, Star Spangled Country Music celebrations, and a special trip to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was a very hard worker, and worked many years outside of the home at Citgo, Advance Transformer, Southwest Technical College in food service, and Udder Brothers Creamery. One of her major accomplishments was earning an Associate’s Degree in Child Care Development.
