Donald J. Carlin, age 64 of McFarland and formerly of Boscobel, passed away on Monday July 17, 2017, in McFarland. He was born on October 29, 1952 in Richland Center Wisconsin. He is the son of Ernest and Kathleen (Crowley) Carlin. He was an Army Veteran. Don is survived by his mother Kathleen Adkins of Boscobel. Seven sisters, Teresa Knoble of Fennimore, Anna (Paul) Conley of Fennimore, Mary Carlin of Boscobel, Karen (Ken) Spradling of Pine Grove Fl., Jackie (Bruce) Hilger of Wyoming, Janet Briggs of Kentucky, Ernestine (Al) Zart of Mt. Ida. Several Nieces and Nephews. He is also survived by his former wife Cathy Carlin of Madison. He was preceded in death by his father Ernest Carlin, step-father Robert Adkins, infant brother Thomas Carlin, Nephews Lydel Knutson, Tyrone Conley, Niece Sara Jo Carlin, brother in law Mick Knoble.
A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday August 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Faustino Ruiz officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery .
Friends may call on Saturday August 12, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Gathering Hall. in Boscobel . Military honors will be accorded by the Blake Semrad Post # 134 American Legion and the Gilbertson Pitzer Radley VFW Post# 10393 both of Boscobel. it shocked me he died, he never look like their was nothing wrong with him or Sammy. he was a great helper at Williamson bay senior apt, by pushing snow off or car every winter, he was a nice guy and I appreciated his help at Williamstown bay where we both lived at. will miss Sammy he really took care of him, so I hope he gets a nice home. sorry for your loss.
