Dateline- Boscobel
Conrad L. Hoffland, age 76 of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday December 14, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on September 24, 1940 in Soldiers Grove Wisconsin. The son of Willard and Ina (Olsen) Hoffland. He married Nina M. "Peterson " Monahan on April 8, 1972 at St. Phillips Catholic Church in Rolling Ground. He is survived by his wife Nina Hoffland of Boscobel. His children Edward (Bonnie) Monahan of Apache Junction AZ, Susan (Charles) Lynch of Beloit, Greg (Barb) Monahan of Boscobel, Kevin (Carie) Monahan of Eden Prairie MN, Thomas (Sheryl) Monahan of Mukwonago, Sara Monahan Enke of Gays Mills, Mary (Bradley) Thurman of Myrtle Beach SC. 17 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren. 1 Brother Bill (Jan) Hoffland of Viroqua. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Marlene Larson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Garrett Kau officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Phillips Catholic Church Cemetery, Rolling Ground. Friends may call on Monday December 19, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Immaculate Conception Fellowship Hall, with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8:00 P.M. Friends may also call on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Immaculate Conception Church or the Boscobel Rescue Squad. Deeply saddened to hear of Connie's passing. He was a great friend, always fun to be around. Wonderful memories of things we did growing up in the Grove. He will be missed.

Very sorry to hear of Conrad's passing, Nina. Conrad always had many new ideas he passed by me, some of which eventually came to fruition. I will keep you in my prayers! All my best.

I am so sorry to hear about Connie. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you and your family. I have some fond memories of Connie with the kids. He was a fun guy and a lucky man in many ways. He is now in heaven and rests with the angels. You have gained another guardian just for you. Love and hugs coming your way.
