Dorothy K. Pulvermacher age 89 of Boscobel, passed away on Friday, November 13,2015 at the Boscobel Care & Rehab in Boscobel. She was born on April 30, 1926 in Woodman Township Grant County Wisconsin. The daughter of Christopher and Lila (French) Bolchen. She married Lawrence Pulvermacher on December 30, 1946 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1989. She is survived by three daughters: Pat Brown of Boscobel, Barbara (Daniel) Jarecki of Holmen, Diane (John) Yonker of Boscobel. 6 Grandchildren: Rick Brown, Scott Brown, Jessica Jarecki, John Jarecki, Kelli Yonker, Kaci Yonker. 3 Great-Grandchildren Abri, Brenner, Geetha. One sister Irene Schoellig of Reedsburg. Several Nieces and Nephews. A sister in law Ann Messerli of Prairie du Chien. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother LeRoy Bolchen and a great-grandson Briar Brown.
Mom was a devoted wife, mother and Catholic. She loved dad as much the day she passed as the day they married. They were always together working on the farm. A trip to town included her sliding over to the middle so they could sit side by side in the truck. A person could tell how much they loved each other just by seeing them together. Once Dad retired from farming Mom went to work in the kitchen at the elementary school. She loved the kids and went on many Wyalusing trips with the 6th graders with adventures to tell when she returned home.
Always thinking of others she showed she cared with a smile, hug, card or a plate of goodies. She loved to make many treats including pies, cinnamon rolls, donuts, cookies and homemade noodles with chicken.
She always had a special sparkle in her eyes when it came to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to spoil them but not with material things but in her own special giving way.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her dear friends and most of all her family. We know you are in a beautiful place, Mom. Love you!!!

We were so sorry to hear about your moms passing. She was one very special lady. She always had a big smile and was so kind. I will never forget how good she was to our mother when our mom lived upstairs and your grandmother lived in the down stairs apartment. Dorothy treated mom just like her own mother.
She loved her daughters and their families so much. And always had good things to say about them. She will be greatly missed. Remember all the good times you had with her and may she rest in peace... Our sincere sympathy to all. Judy and Mike Lull
