Hollis S. Groom, age 51 of Lacrosse and formally of Boscobel, passed away on Friday March 13, 2015 in Lacrosse. He was a proud Iron Worker until a severe injury. He worked mostly in Madison for J H Findorff , J.P. Cullen and Chilstrom. He is survived by his Mother Helen Groom of Steuben. 4 sisters: Linda Groom of Steuben, Barbara Blanchard of Marshfield, Donna Hutchison of Lacrosse, Kay Burns of Boscobel. 3 brothers: Michael Groom of Wauzeka, Alan Groom of Wauzeka, Todd (Kelly) Groom of Boscobel. Several Nieces and Nephews. Special Niece : Paula (Jack) Smith of Seneca. God son: Kane Groom of Steuben. Close friends Jim and Jolene Melcher of Sun Prairie, and also Ed. In was preceded in death by his Father Fritz Groom, infant brother Tommy Groom. 2 brother in laws: Tom Hutchison, Mike Burns.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Jen Johnson officiating. Private family inurnment in the Boscobel Cemetery.
