James "Jim" H. Mayne, age 68 of Prairie du Chien and formally of Boscobel, passed away on Saturday October 25, 2014 at the Crossing River Health Care in Prairie du Chien. He was born on January 29, 1946 in Dubuque Iowa. The son of Harland and Alice (Wilson) Mayne. He married Wendy O'Kane on March 16, 1989 in Lancaster. He is survived by his wife Wendy Mayne of Prairie du Chien. 2 sons: Keith (Lisa) Mayne and there children Leslie and Lacey Mayne of Milledgeville Ill. Ryan Mayne of Prairie du Chien. 2 daughters; Chandra Mayne and her children Charde Mayne and Aiyanna Pevey of Milwaukee, Cherryl (Jonathan) Knowles and there children Andrew, Treena, Sarah, Erin and Jonah of Boscobel. 3 brothers; Harold (Rose) Mayne of Boscobel, Charles (Agnes) Mayne of Stitzer, Roger (Colleen) Mayne of Montfort. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.He is further survived by a brother in law Tim (Shari) O'Kane along with his father in law Gary O'Kane. He was preceded in death by his parents along with a sister Barbara Fernatte.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday November 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Rev. Jim Griffis officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Saturday November 1, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. On line condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
